Update profile

Overview

Next Design allows you to reflect the updated metamodels and view definitions in your project by importing the exported profile into the project you are editing.

Import profile

To import the exported profile into your project, do the following:

Operation procedure

1. Do one of the following:
   • Click Profile> Share> Import Profile from the ribbon.
   • Select File> Import> Import Profile from the ribbon and click the Reference button.
2. In the Import Profile dialog, specify the profile (.nprof or .iprof file) you want to import.
3. Click the Open button to apply the metamodel and view definition contained in the profile to your project.

• The file save format must be the same for the project to be imported and the profile to be imported.
