Copy and paste from others

Overview

In Next Design, you can copy and paste with other tools as follows.

Paste from Excel to the grid on the form

If you select a row in the grid and then paste it, it will be bulk added as the same type of model under the selected row and the value will be pasted into the column.

Add models from the title list text to the ER diagram at once

If you select a model in the diagram and then paste it, it will be added together as a model of the same type as the selected model.

Add models from TSV format text to tree diagram at once

If you select a model in the diagram and then paste it, the same type of model as the selected model will be added as siblings, and the hierarchical models will be added in bulk according to the tab indent at the beginning of the line.
Even from Excel, if you indent with a column instead of a tab, it will be added in the same way.

Paste data from the grid on the form to Excel

The contents of the columns displayed in the grid are pasted into the Excel sheet.

Paste data from tree diagram to Excel

Titles are pasted into columns in the Excel sheet according to the tree hierarchy level.
If you are displaying text in the body of the shape in the tree diagram, that text will also be pasted.
