Confirm the product application design model¶
Overview¶
In Next Design, you can check the model to which the product configuration is applied in the model editor and check the model difference between two products.
Check valid model components for each product¶
Use the following procedure to check the model components that are valid when the product configuration is applied in the model editor.
Operating procedure
- Select your product from the Product Line> Apply> Product pull-down list on the ribbon.
- When you select a product, the valid model components for that product remain visible and the invalid model components are grayed out.
- In addition, check the Product Line> Apply> Hide Invalid Elements checkbox on the ribbon to hide the invalid model components and see the model after applying the product.
Attention
- If you change the feature assignment or edit the model while applying the product, the display state of the model components will not be updated sequentially.
- To update the display state, click Product Line> Apply> Recalculate Applied State on the ribbon.
Check the difference between two products¶
To check the difference by comparing with the model of another product, follow the procedure below.
Operating procedure
- Select the product you want to compare to from the Product Line> Apply> Product pull-down list on the ribbon.
- Turn on the [Product Line]> [Compare Products]> [Show Diff] toggle button on the ribbon to split the main editor into left and right, and display the comparison model on the left and the comparison model on the right. I will.
- When you switch the products to compare in the [Product Line]> [Compare Products]> [Refer to] pull-down list on the ribbon, the differences (addition, modification, deletion) between the two models are displayed in different colors.
- Set the ribbon [Product Line]> [Compare Products]> [Show Diff Product] toggle button to OFF to display only the comparison source model and the difference points.
